Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to support our Base Infrastructure contract at McConnell AFB, KS. The role leads IT operations, service delivery, and continuous improvement to keep critical missions operational.

Responsibilities include incident/change/problem management, ITIL frameworks, and coordination across NOC, field support, and engineering. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT operations, DoD Secret clearance, and an ITIL Foundation certification; PMP

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of IT operations management experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification required.
• PMP or equivalent management certification preferred.
• DoD Secret security clearance required.

• Manages IT operations and service delivery functions providing leadership for operational processes, service management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversees day-to-day IT operations including incident management, change management, and problem management processes.
• Manages operational teams ensuring effective service delivery and performance.
• Implements ITIL service management frameworks and Defense Enterprise Service Management processes.
• Coordinates operational activities across Network Operations Center, field support teams, and engineering functions.
• Manages operational metrics, reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Leads process improvement initiatives enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinates with program management for operational planning and resource allocation.
• Manages operational budget and expenditure tracking.
• Ensures compliance with operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Coordinates crisis response and disaster recovery operations.
• Manages vendor and subcontractor operational coordination.
