Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Operations Leader in Wisconsin to drive day-to-day warehouse, production, and pallet operations. You will supervise 20+ onsite staff, champion safety, and coordinate with Walmart DC leadership to meet service and performance goals.

You will analyze financial reports, optimize material flow, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing costs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3+ years of operations, site, or warehouse management experience.
• Proven track record leading 20+ employees in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Direct experience with P&L (Profit & Loss) or cost-center management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and implementing operational solutions.
• Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs as business needs require.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Experience working inside or directly supporting a Walmart Distribution Center.
• Preferred: Prior experience in pallet operations, recycling, 3PL services, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong background in maintaining high safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA).
• Familiarity with high-volume, customer-embedded operations where inventory flow is critical.
• PPE will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility layout and storage strategies to maximize space and optimize material movement and inventory flow.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot operational, safety, and personnel issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Regional Managers and Operations VPs to manage P&L, control costs, and implement waste reduction strategies.
• Conduct audits, inventory cycle checks, and compliance reviews.
• Prepare and analyze operational, financial, and administrative reports.
• Ensure standards for stacking, labeling, handling, and storage of goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
• Coordinate movement of goods between departments and oversee returns and damages.
• Communicate operational updates and service performance expectations to stakeholders.
• Work with HR and Risk teams to administer company policies fairly and consistently.
