Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Stockbridge, GA is seeking a dynamic manager to lead moving crews and run daily operations. You’ll work with customers, vendors, and staff to hit operating goals and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Willing to pass pre-employment background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and coordinate hiring, scheduling, and dispatch of move crews.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and equipment inventory.
• Lead mover/driver training and motivate the team.
• Uphold safety procedures and comply with DOT and FMCSA guidelines.
• Serve as on-call contact outside normal business hours.
• Oversee performance audits and damage resolution during moves.
• Work up to six days per week with flexible hours, including some marketing events.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew
• Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
• Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
• Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of normal business hours
• Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process
• Perform position functions up to six days of a week, with a flexible range of hours which might include some
• marketing or networking events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred Driver’s license with good driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens Junk Removal experience preferred but not required
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 50 lbs. or more
• Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook Moving experience is not required, but preferred
