Job summary

US Med-Equip is seeking an Operations Manager to provide leadership and direction for all site operations, ensuring service excellence and patient-centered care. You will manage multi-site operations with Supervisors and Leads, driving consistency and financial discipline in support of the organization’s mission.

The role focuses on strategic execution, safety compliance, process standardization, and continuous improvement, while mentoring emerging leaders and partnering with regional leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of multi-site management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of financial and performance metrics, orders and inventory.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site operations including Delivery, Pickup, Safety and Inventory.
  • Develop Operations team, including Supervisors and Leads.
  • Oversee operational planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure site safety, regulatory and operational compliance.
  • Review metrics to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Manage labor utilization and expenses to meet objectives.
  • Drive process standardization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead site audits, investigations and performance reviews.
  • Partner with Regional Director to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Mentor emerging talent and support succession planning.
  • Communicate priorities and outcomes to customers and regional teams.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.

Job Description

The Operations Manager provides overall leadership and direction for site operations, ensuring service excellence, safety, and team development. This role manages local teams, can include other Supervisors and Leads, to achieve operational consistency, financial discipline, and alignment with organizational goals.

The Operations Manager is accountable for operational consistency, partner satisfaction, and team development across their span of control. This position drives both strategic direction and execution, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centered service in alignment with USME’s mission to support front-line healthcare.

Job Responsibilities
SCOPE OF CONTROL
  • Leads 9 or more total staff or multiple locations / operational teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership and direction for all site operations, including Delivery, Pickup, Safety, and Inventory.
  • Manage and develop Operations team, can include Supervisors and Leads, to ensure strong team performance and growth.
  • Oversee operational planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure site compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Review and analyze performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage labor utilization and expense control to meet financial and service objectives.
  • Drive operational consistency through process standardization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead site-level audits, investigations, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with the Regional Director to implement strategic initiatives and performance goals.
  • Build leadership depth through succession planning and mentorship of emerging talent.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and regional teams regarding operational priorities and outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the operation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree and/or at least 5 years of multi-site management experience with business operations

  • Understanding of the medical equipment industry
  • Outstanding listening, communications, collaboration, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
