Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in business operations or related field with 5+ years multi-site management.
  • Strong integrity, work ethic, and customer/value delivery.
  • Understanding of the medical equipment industry.
  • Excellent listening, communication, collaboration and leadership.
  • Knowledge of financial and performance metrics, orders, and inventory data.
  • Proven remote-management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for all site operations, including Delivery, Safety, and Inventory.
  • Develop Operations team to ensure performance and growth.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources for efficiency.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Review metrics to identify trends and improvements.
  • Manage labor and expenses to meet financial/service goals.
  • Standardize processes and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead site audits and performance reviews.
  • Partner with Regional Director on strategic initiatives.
  • Build leadership depth through mentorship.
  • Communicate priorities and outcomes to customers and regional teams.
  • Promote culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Operations Manager provides overall leadership and direction for site operations, ensuring service excellence, safety, and team development. This role manages local teams and can include supervisors and leads to achieve operational consistency, financial discipline, and alignment with organizational goals.

The Operations Manager is accountable for operational consistency, partner satisfaction, and team development across their span of control. This position drives both strategic direction and execution, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centered service in alignment with USME’s mission to support front-line healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for all site operations, including Delivery, Pickup, Safety, and Inventory.
  • Manage and develop the Operations team, which may include supervisors and leads, to ensure strong team performance and growth.
  • Oversee operational planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure site compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Review and analyze performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage labor utilization and expense control to meet financial and service objectives.
  • Drive operational consistency through process standardization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead site-level audits, investigations, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with the Regional Director to implement strategic initiatives and performance goals.
  • Build leadership depth through succession planning and mentorship of emerging talent.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and regional teams regarding operational priorities and outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the operation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree and/or at least 5 years of multi‑site management experience with business operations.
  • Exemplify the highest integrity, work ethic, team orientation, and relentless commitment to delivering value to customers and employees.
  • Understanding of the medical equipment industry.
  • Outstanding listening, communication, collaboration, leadership, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Understanding of financial and performance metrics, order, and inventory data and trends.
  • Proven remote‑management abilities.
