Job summary

KLA Industries in Omaha, NE seeks a strong site leader to take overall responsibility for the plant. You will work on the factory floor with operations and hourly personnel to drive safety and performance standards.

Ideal candidates bring leadership in chemical environments and regulatory knowledge (PSM, DOT/TCEQ). Travel will be minimal and reporting aligns with a regional manager.

Qualifications

• Leadership background is essential for site leadership.
• Experience in chemicals distribution or related field preferred.
• PSM (Process Safety Management) experience is a big bonus.
• Understanding of DOT/TCEQ regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee site operations and safety on the floor with operations and hourly staff.
• Drive high safety standards and high performance across the site.
• Report to regional management with minimal travel.

The person for this role needs to be a strong leader and someone who likes to be out on the floor, working directly with operations and other hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and high performance. This person will have overall responsibility for this site and this role reports to a regional manager. Travel will be minimal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Leadership background is important - should have previous management experience
• Must be out of chemicals, ideally chemical distribution or something along those lines
• Previous PSM (process safety management) experience is a huge plus
• Must understand DOT/TCEQ regulations
