Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a hands-on Plant Leader for a chemicals facility near Omaha, NE. You will work on the floor with operators to push safety, reliability and performance while reporting to a regional manager.

Travel is minimal, and you’ll own site metrics and daily operations. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in chemical distribution or similar, knowledge of PSM, and familiarity with DOT/TCEQ regulations.

Qualifications

• Leadership background is required.
• Experience in chemicals, ideally distribution or related area.
• PSM (process safety management) experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with DOT/TCEQ regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations on the floor with operators and hourly personnel.
• Drive safety standards and performance across the plant.
• Own site metrics and daily operational outcomes.
• Coordinate with regional management and cross-functional teams.

The person for this role needs to be a strong leader and someone who likes to be out on the floor, working directly with operations and other hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and high performance. This person will have overall responsibility for this site and this role reports to a regional manager. Travel will be minimal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Leadership background is important - should have previous management experience
• Must be out of chemicals, ideally chemical distribution or something along those lines
• Previous PSM (process safety management) experience is a huge plus
• Must understand DOT/TCEQ regulations
