Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced site leader to take overall responsibility for this plant, guiding daily operations and safety performance.

You will be on the floor with operations and hourly staff, pushing for high safety standards and top-tier performance, while coordinating with a regional manager and keeping travel to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Leadership background with prior management experience.
• Experience in chemicals or chemical distribution is preferred.
• PSM (process safety management) experience is a plus.
• Understanding of DOT/TCEQ regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the site and lead on-floor operations.
• Work directly with operations and hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and performance.
• Report to a regional manager with travel kept to a minimum.

This company has been around for many years and supplies very stable industries with the chemicals they need - this plant is about 10 people and is in need of a leader.

The person for this role needs to be a strong leader and someone who likes to be out on the floor, working directly with operations and other hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and high performance. This person will have overall responsibility for this site and this role reports to a regional manager. Travel will be minimal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Leadership background is important - should have previous management experience
• Must be out of chemicals, ideally chemical distribution or something along those lines
• Previous PSM (process safety management) experience is a huge plus
• Must understand DOT/TCEQ regulations
