Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a supervisor in the asphalt production sector to oversee production and distribution objectives for assigned plants, while mentoring teams to hit quality and productivity targets. The role requires strong safety discipline and hands-on leadership within a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years of supervisory work and familiarity with SAP, Google Mail, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience.
• Three to five years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in Asphalt Production.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (i.e. SAP), Google Mail, and Microsoft Suite.
• Local travel throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for attainment of production and distribution objectives for assigned asphalt plants.
• Effective management and mentoring of subordinates to achieve quality and productivity targets.
• Conduct OH&S program activities such as inspections, training and incident investigations.
• Meet financial targets and budget objectives.
• Interface with other functional groups to maintain safe and efficient facilities and processes.
