TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Lexington, KY is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our frontline moving team and drive location performance in Safety, Customer Service and Sales. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight of scheduling, dispatch, training and compliance.

You will recruit, coach and develop staff, monitor safety and quality, manage fleet maintenance, and support local marketing while helping to grow the business.

• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Support local marketing and sales initiatives.
• Serve as emergency on-call contact outside normal business hours.

What You'll Do

As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our frontline moving team and helping drive the location's performance in three key areas: Safety, Customer Service and Sales.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and motivate movers and drivers
• Manage daily scheduling, dispatching and truck assignments
• Monitor moves to ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction
• Conduct vehicle, equipment and paperwork audits
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
• Train and develop employees while building future leaders
• Hold team members accountable to performance and company standards
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Help control costs and improve location profitability
• Support local marketing and sales initiatives
• Serve as an emergency on-call contact outside normal business hours

• Previous management or leadership experience

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
• Availability to work Saturdays and approximately one Sunday per month

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is a plus, but not required.
