Job summary

Shunmei Medical Co.,LTD is expanding its presence in the United States and establishing a new office in Houston, Texas. We seek an Operations Manager to support U.S. operations, drive local presence, and coordinate with the China headquarters to ensure seamless execution of projects.

The role involves setting up the Houston office, coordinating site selection for a future manufacturing facility, and building relationships within the U.S. healthcare and medical device sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years of U.S. experience in operations, project management, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of Houston/Texas business environment; local connections are a plus.

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to support our U.S. operations and help build our local presence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and day-to-day operations of the company’s Houston office.
• Research and coordinate office and future manufacturing facility site selection in the Houston area.
• Work with local government agencies, industrial parks, vendors, and other external partners to support business operations and local projects.
• Support the early-stage development and preparation of the company’s future U.S. manufacturing facility.
• Develop and maintain local relationships and resources within the U.S. healthcare and medical device industry.
• Coordinate with the China headquarters and U.S. team to ensure smooth execution of local operations and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above with 3+ years of U.S. experience in operations, project management, or a related field; based in Houston or willing to relocate.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of the Houston and Texas business environment; local business or industry connections are a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, hands‑on, and able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
• Fluent in English and strong Chinese communication skills.
• Experience with U.S. office setup, manufacturing facility development, or corporate expansion is a plus.
• Chinese-American / Chinese candidates with long-term U.S. work experience are preferred.
