Job summary

Liberty Roofing Center Inc. in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch sales and operations for building materials distribution. You will coach inside/outside sales, manage inventory, coordinate delivery, and drive growth with suppliers and customers.

You will partner with the team to deliver exceptional customer care, stay current with industry trends, and ensure efficient warehouse layout and workflow. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong leadership.
• Experience in the Building Products field.
• Background in working directly with contractors.
• Management experience with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Delivery Drivers and Warehouse Staff.
• Strong work ethic and communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

OPERATIONS MANAGER:

Position Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic sales minded individuals who can think “outside of the box” to help us grow business in the building materials market. We are looking for a decisive SALES leader with an empathetic leadership style that motivates branch employees, ensures exceptional customer care and keeps the office current on the daily requirements.

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our Liberty Roofing Center, Elizabeth, NJ family.

Responsibilities

• Effectively Manage, Lead and Motivate personnel
• Manage all aspects of the branch operations
• Inventory Management
• Responsible to grow new business and expand market share
• Insure proper warehouse functionality – Layout and workflow
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, market prices, vendors and competitors
• Work with team to build lasting relationships with suppliers and customers, building a positive company image
• Attend meetings, functions and company provided training as required
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Any other responsibilities as assigned
