Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Experience in building products field or related construction materials.
• Background working directly with contractors.
• Previous management experience overseeing inside sales, outside sales, drivers and warehouse staff.
• Strong work ethic and accountability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate branch personnel across sales, operations and delivery.
• Manage all aspects of branch operations and inventory.
• Grow new business and expand market share in the region.
• Maintain warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
• Build lasting supplier and customer relationships to promote the company image.

Position Overview

Enthusiastic, sales‑oriented leaders who can think creatively to grow business in the building materials market. A decisive sales leader with an empathetic style who motivates branch employees, ensures exceptional customer care and keeps the office current on daily requirements.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage, lead and motivate personnel.
• Manage all aspects of the branch operations.
• Maintain inventory management.
• Grow new business and expand market share.
• Ensure proper warehouse functionality – layout and workflow.
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, market prices, vendors and competitors.
• Build lasting relationships with suppliers and customers to promote a positive company image.
• Attend meetings, functions and company‑provided training as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned.
