Job summary

Forshaw in Boston is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, optimize processes, and ensure safety and compliance. You will manage staff, schedule workloads, and produce management reports to support decision-making. The ideal candidate has five+ years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to improve efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This position is first shift, Monday–Friday, in our Boston location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of related experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration with other departments.
• Completes required management reports.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed.
• Researches, identifies, and presents ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies.
• Oversees daily workflow; schedules staff to ensure proper staffing.
• Hires and trains new warehouse and customer service employees.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

FORSHAW is seeking a highly motivated and efficient individual to join our team as an Operations Manager for our Boston branch. In this role, you will be responsible for warehouse operations. Your goal will be to supply confidence by managing the warehouse team and creating efficiencies in ways that align with FORSHAW’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of managing others; critical thinking skills, and the ability to prioritize safety. You must have a high attention to detail and be a excellent leader to succeed in this role.
