Human Resources Generalist at Courier Express

Purpose of the Position:

Oversees daily operation processes and activities.

Primary Job Duties:

• Supervises multiple operating units (warehouse/distribution center) with part-time and full-time employees.
• Establishes and maintains performance and productivity standards.
• Manages and attempts to reduce the costs of the operating unit.
• Maintains a high level of service with customers that meets Courier Express expectations.
• Creates goals and action plans for each aspect of the operating unit.
• Maintains positive employee relations and creates a positive work environment through enforcement of safety and compliance standards.
• Monitors operations by resolving workplace issues.
• Provides feedback to management on overall operations.

Secondary Job Duties:

• Develops employees within the Courier Express culture and provides tools for success.
• Makes managerial decisions concerning staff and temporary employees.

Education/Experience Preferred:

Experience in Courier, Freight, Distribution, Warehousing, and/or Transportation fields.

Personal Skills Required:
