Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager in Alameda, CA to design and oversee physical security operations, incident response, and risk management programs for a large client.

The role collaborates with client safety leadership and executive teams to implement standards, budgets, and performance metrics. The candidate will manage local campus operations, drive service improvements, and report on alarm monitoring and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, emergency management, business management, or related discipline or equivalent.
• Five plus years experience in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement or military, or security control room supervision.
• ASIS CPP and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
• Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, Lenel, Salesforce.
• Maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law and client requirements.
• Dependable team player with business maturity and customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work any shifts Mon-Sun and assist the team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with client Global Safety & Security management team and SIS Executive team on security, safety, executive protection, events and risk programs.
• Manage operations at local client campus including budget management, performance metrics and contract management.
• Identify areas of program improvement and expansions of service and customer service enhancements.
• Create measurable reporting for alarm monitoring, incident response, and performance metrics.
• Respond promptly to emergent events, staffing deficiencies, and client requests.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Details: Job Location: CA Alameda - Alameda, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $94500.00 - $94500.00Salary/year, About the role: The Operations Manager is responsible for reducing risk, responding to incidents, and limiting exposure to liability within the client Global Safety & Security operations. The Operations Manager will partner with the client Global Safety & Security Management team to develop, implement and manage physical security, safety, executive protection, special events, investigations and risk management programs that align with the client culture, values and policies. The Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations. In this role, your responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, implement, and manage physical security operations for the client including post orders, standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintain close coordination, planning, communication and regular direct liaison with the client Global Safety & Security management team and SIS Executive team around all aspects of physical security, safety, executive protection, special events, investigations and risk management programs
• Manage operations at local client campus including budget management, performance metrics and contract management
• Responsible for identifying areas of program improvement, expansions of service, customer service improvements and other evolutionary changes
• Create measurable reporting process to include alarm monitoring, incident response, tracking and reporting of performance metrics and other service areas
• Respond in a timely manner to emergent events, issues, staffing deficiencies, and client requests
• Perform other related duties as required Qualifications: As a candidate you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, emergency management, business management, or related discipline or equivalent
• Five plus years experience in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement or military, or security control room supervision
• ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
• Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, Lenel, Salesforce
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted
• Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
• Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed We offer:
