Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized operational processes and workflows.
  • Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess operational performance and identify improvements.
  • Recruit, train and retain staff to maintain a high-performing workforce.
  • Develop employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve resource utilization.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinicians and administrators.
  • Represent the organization regionally to enhance visibility and reputation.

Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of non-exempt and exempt employees, while managing the day-to-day operations and financial performance of one subspecialty practice, with additional oversight of one to two other locations within the region.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow and deployment of shared clinical space, in order to maximize patient throughput and minimize wait times.
  • 2. Develop and implement standardized operational processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • 3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • 4. Recruit, train and retain staff to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • 5. Responsible for the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives
  • 6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to maximize resource utilization and minimize expenses.
  • 7. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and support staff.
  • 8. Serve as a representative of the organization in the regions to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • 9. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • 1. Education: Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration required. In lieu of an Associate's degree, minimum four years of experience in healthcare leadership is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3. Certification: Certificate in Healthcare Management required within two years of the role.
  • 4. Years of relevant experience: Minimum of three years in healthcare leadership, (preferably overseeing multiple facilities, sites, or programs), required.
