Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of non-exempt and exempt employees, while managing the day-to-day operations and financial performance of one subspecialty practice, with additional oversight of one to two other locations within the region.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow and deployment of shared clinical space, in order to maximize patient throughput and minimize wait times.
  • Develop and implement standardized operational processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train and retain staff to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to maximize resource utilization and minimize expenses.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and support staff.
  • Serve as a representative of the organization in the regions to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Certification: Certificate in Healthcare Management required within two years of the role.
  • Years of relevant experience: Minimum of three years in healthcare leadership, (preferably overseeing multiple facilities, sites, or programs), required.
