Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Springfield, MA is seeking an Operations Management Trainee for the 3:00pm–11:30pm shift.

You will support shop management, drive cost savings, and improve customer retention through metrics-driven initiatives while working across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality and Rental. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least one year in customer service; strong communication, organization, and mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience.
• Strong PC knowledge to include Excel and Word processing software (Advanced).
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental to maximize utilization without affecting lease customers.
• Assist Sales on customer calls for new business and increased satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Coordinate PM scheduling and oversee technician planning; ensure efficiency.
