Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management, drive cost savings, boost customer retention, and advance metric-based initiatives.

You will collaborate across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental to optimize processes and outcomes. The role emphasizes relationship-building, rigorous scheduling, and cross-department teamwork to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience
• Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages Advanced
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics Beginner

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality customer interface and proactive customer management.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization without compromising lease customers.
• Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads; follow policies to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow up; oversee technician work planning for efficiency.
