Job Description:

Now hiring individuals interested in working in the transportation industry. This job offers an opportunity to learn how to manage a heavy-duty truck repair shop while being paid to train!

Requirements: A completed 4-year college degree is required.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Work schedules may change as the trainee progresses.

Salary: Determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, experience, degrees, or certifications.

Summary:

The Operations Management Trainee supports shop management, focusing on cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. The role involves working across various departments and acquiring industry knowledge to develop your operations & fleet maintenance background. Performance can lead to promotion, typically to an Ops Supervisor role.

Essential Functions:

• Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental and sales departments for optimal utilization and customer service.
• Manage costs and maintenance overheads.
• Oversee vehicle scheduling, breakdowns, and technician planning.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Relocation within the business after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
