Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines seeks an entry-level Management Trainee to join its Operations Leadership track. The program runs 16 weeks of intensive training under a mentor, aimed at preparing you for a supervisory role in operations.

After completion, relocation to another facility will be required to assume your first leadership position. The program emphasizes transportation industry principles, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics or at least two years of related work experience.
• Acceptable driving history.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Management Trainee Program and complete the 16-week training.
• Learn basic transportation industry principles, cross-dock operations, leadership communication and relationship building.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center associates in daily training tasks.
• Accompany Account Manager during customer sales calls to observe processes and learn.
• Observe and ride with drivers on local routes to understand freight delivery.
