XPO is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in the Chicago area to join a 12-month rotational program designed for candidates with limited or no LTL or transportation operations experience. You will rotate across field operations, linehaul, maintenance and support functions, earning CDL and forklift certifications along the way.

The program starts 1/11/2027 and aims to develop frontline leaders; compensation includes a $63,000 salary, generous benefits, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Willing to relocate within region after successful completion of the program
• Demonstrated leadership experience through internships, academic projects, athletics or work experience
• Experience working on a dock or similar field operations environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills

Responsabilités

• Long, active days on the dock with frontline teams
• 12-month rotational program across field operations, linehaul, maintenance and support functions
• CDL school and forklift certification during the program
• Complete leadership training for frontline dock leadership
• Work with freight operations supervisors and field leaders to gain hands-on experience
• Meet weekly goals and learning objectives and milestones
• Learn XPO operations through resources and hands-on experience
