Job summary

Siemens in Pomona, CA is seeking undergraduate students for a 12-week Operations Leadership Development Internship (June 21 – Sept 10, 2027). You will own hands-on projects in manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality assurance, and gain exposure to LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kanban to drive real improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related majors (must be enrolled as a student at the time of the internship).
• Available to work full-time during standard business hours (40 hours per week, Monday - Friday) from June 21 through September 10, 2027.
• Pursuing a career through the full-time rotational Operations Leadership Development Program upon graduation, and willing to relocate across the United States for future program assignments.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on projects in manufacturing operations, production planning, quality assurance, procurement, or project management.
• Apply LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kanban to analyze production processes and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity planning, material planning, procurement, logistics, or supply chain initiatives.
• Participate in trainings, fireside chats with guest speakers, skills workshops, mentorship, and networking activities.
