Job summary

Siemens seeks engineering students for the Engineering Leadership Development Program Internship in Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products. This is a 12-week summer internship (May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027) with potential for a two-year rotational program after graduation.

The position is based at Peachtree Corners, GA, Roebuck, SC, Hingham, MA, and Grand Prairie, TX. You will gain hands-on experience in power distribution, product design, and cross-functional collaboration while developing

Qualifications

• Structured experiential learning program for students currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) May 17 to Aug 6.
• Willingness to relocate for the summer and travel for business purposes.
• Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge to address real-world challenges and help launch smart power distribution and power management systems.
• Contribute to development, innovation, and strategic growth of low voltage and control products.
• Engage in activities across product design, feasibility analysis, manufacturing/QA, project management, or applications engineering.
• Participate in trainings, fireside chats, mentorship, and networking to grow technically and professionally.
