Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern position within its Supply Chain facilities. This paid internship runs 40 hours per week, teaching you how to lead a team and manage daily operations under supervision.

You’ll work with mentors to develop leadership and problem‑solving skills across departments in the building. Expect structured training, daily planning, and hands‑on experience in driving productivity while ensuring safety and guest service priorities.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within supply chain facilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the facility floor helping to lead amongst team members and align daily priorities.
• Plan daily goals and organize shift plans to achieve targets at start of shift.
• Lead daily planning meetings with peer/leadership team and present results.
• Provide summary of results around plan attainment and share hurdles and learnings to move forward.
