Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation invites motivated students to join its 12-week Manufacturing Leadership Development Program (MLDP) in the US. You will work on real projects across lean manufacturing, quality, and logistics at a North American plant, with exposure to senior leadership.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations management, with a 2.8+ GPA and the ability to obtain US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree with plan to graduate by May 2029.
• Current cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Must have indefinite US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead scrap reduction initiatives with project scope and timeline.
• Focus on cost-savings initiatives across a plant and improve first-pass yield.
• Manage equipment/resource relocation projects.
• Design, develop and coordinate test programs or components with cost and quality in mind.
• Lead change management with impacted team members and apply Lean tools.
