Job summary

Target is offering an Operations Intern role in our Supply Chain Facilities. This paid, 40 hr/week internship develops leadership by placing you with a Mentor and real managers to learn how Target’s supply chain operates and how to lead a department.

You’ll gain hands-on experience leading daily operations, solving problems, maintaining safety, and driving productivity while learning to influence a team toward common goals.

Qualifications

• Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles.
• Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our supply chain facilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and strong initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead amongst team members and align daily priorities.
• Maintain quality and inventory accuracy through standardized processes.
• Track KPI’s such as safety, teamwork, quality and productivity.
• Conduct safety walks and audits to ensure compliance.
• Plan daily goals and organize shift plans to achieve targets.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members and mentors.
