Job summary

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) invites you to join the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) in Jacksonville. Over three transformative years, you will immerse in the FIREHOUSE SUBS restaurant experience, learn leadership and operations skills, and prepare for executive roles like Brand President or Country Manager.

You will start with hands-on in-restaurant exposure, building a strong foundation from Team Member to Restaurant General Manager, then advance to Above Restaurant

Qualifications

  • Graduating with an undergraduate degree between Dec 2026 - June 2027.
  • Willingness to work in-restaurant, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience in restaurants, retail, hotels, or guest-facing industries is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid United States Driver's License (or ability to attain one prior to program start).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a three-year training program across in-restaurant operations and leadership.
  • Develop core leadership and operational skills needed to run high-performing teams.
  • Progress from Restaurant General Manager responsibilities to Above Restaurant Leader.
  • Collaborate with Restaurant Support Center and Operations Services partners to drive operational consistency.
  • Lead initiatives to improve guest experience, team culture, and restaurant performance.

The Operations Program Experience

If you're ready for a general management training program that provides hand s on operations, leadership, direct responsibility of a multi-unit P&L, then the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) at Restaurant Brands International is your launchpad. This is a program designed for future corporate leaders within the RBI system . . . think Brand President, Country Manager, Vice President of Operations, or future franchisee.

Over three transformative years, you'll get immersed in the FIREHOUSE SUBS® restaurant experience , develop the core leadership and operational skills needed to run high-performing teams, and grow into a future leader in one of the world's most iconic QSR brands.

This is more than just mastering restaurant operations - it's about owning results, learning fast, and making an impact on the guest experience, team culture, and restaurant performance.

Onboarding Week

Your RBI journey kicks off with a dedicated orientation where you'll get to dive head-first into our culture at RBI, learn more about our business, brands and strategic plans, while learning new skills and honing existing ones.

Your First 6 Months - Restaurant Fundamentals (In-Restaurant)

Build a strong foundation in restaurant operations by learning every role in the restaurant, from Team Member through to Assistant Manager. Working alongside restaurant and operations leaders, you'll develop a firsthand understanding of how to run a successful restaurant, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and uphold operational standards. You'll also begin building your coaching, problem-solving, and leadership skills by supporting and developing new Team Members.

Year 1 - Restaurant General Management (In-Restaurant)

Step into the role of Restaurant General Manager, taking full responsibility for leading a restaurant and a team of 20+ people. You'll drive restaurant performance by developing and executing improvement plans, building a high-performing team, and creating a consistently great guest experience. This phase will strengthen your leadership, commercial, and P&L management capabilities while giving you end-to-end accountability for people, operations, and results.

Year 2 - Above Restaurant Management

Build on your restaurant leadership experience by expanding your exposure to broader operations and business priorities. As an Above Restaurant Leader, you'll work closely with Restaurant Support Center (RSC) and Operations Services partners to drive operational consistency and strengthen restaurant performance . You'll gain greater exposure to strategic operations and Brand leadership while building the skills to lead through others and deliver results across the business.

Own Your Career

After completing your OLDP journey, you'll be equipped with a deep understanding of how great operations drive guest experience, and how to lead teams to deliver excellence every day. And this is just the beginning - your future path could include roles in Field Operations , working with restaurants across the country to deliver an amazing guest experience or Restaurant Support Center Operations in areas like training, standards, innovation and more!

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidates are:

  • Graduating with an undergraduate degree between Dec 202 6 - June 202 7
  • From any major - we welcome diverse academic backgrounds ; preference will be given to those with a business and/or hospitality major (or similar)
  • Willingness to work in-restaurant , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays , previous experience in restaurants, retail, hotels, or guest-facing industries is a plus
  • Hungry (literally and figuratively) to make an impact in a business that moves fast and serves millions daily
  • Passionate about growth , ownership , and the hospitality industry
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicators, problem-solvers, and natural leaders
  • Flexibility and openness to relocation opportunities within the continental United States are strongly preferred, as program placements may vary by business need.
  • Have a Valid United States Driver's License (or ability to attain one prior to program start)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 4 0 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
