This is a program designed for future corporate leaders within the RBI system . . think Brand President, Country Manager, Vice President of Operations, or future franchisee.
Over three transformative years, you’ll get immersed in the Burger King® or Popeyes® restaurant experience, develop the core leadership and operational skills needed to run high-performing teams, and grow into a future leader in one of the world’s most iconic QSR brands.

Your RBI journey kicks off with a dedicated orientation where you’ll get to dive head-first into our culture at RBI, learn more about our business, brands and strategic plans, while learning new skills and honing existing ones.
Build a strong foundation in restaurant operations by learning every role in the restaurant, from Team Member through to Assistant Manager. Working alongside restaurant and operations leaders, you’ll develop a firsthand understanding of how to run a successful restaurant, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and uphold operational standards. You’ll also begin building your coaching, problem-solving, and leadership skills by supporting and developing new Team Members.
Step into the role of Restaurant General Manager, taking full responsibility for leading a restaurant and a team of 20+ people. You’ll drive restaurant performance by developing and executing improvement plans, building a high-performing team, and creating a consistently great guest experience. This phase will strengthen your leadership, commercial, and P&L management capabilities while giving you end-to-end accountability for people, operations, and results.
Transition from leading one restaurant to leading a district portfolio of restaurants. As a District Manager, you’ll apply your restaurant experience on a broader scale—coaching Restaurant General Managers, driving operational consistency and performance across multiple locations, and supporting the development of restaurant leadership talent. You’ll gain greater exposure to strategic operations and Brand leadership while building the skills to lead through others and deliver results across a multi-unit business.
After completing your OLDP journey, you’ll be equipped with a deep understanding of how great operations drive guest experience, and how to lead teams to deliver excellence every day. And this is just the beginning — your future path could include roles in Field Operations, working with restaurants across the country to deliver an amazing guest experience or Restaurant Support Center Operations in areas like training, standards, innovation and more!
Our ideal candidates are:
Graduating with an undergraduate degree between Dec 2026 – June 2027
From any major — we welcome diverse academic backgrounds; preference will be given to those with a business and/or hospitality major (or similar)
Willingness to work in-restaurant, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, previous experience in restaurants, retail, hotels, or guest-facing industries is a plus
Hungry (literally and figuratively) to make an impact in a business that moves fast and serves millions daily
Passionate about growth, ownership, and the hospitality industry
Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a fast-paced environment
Excellent communicators, problem-solvers, and natural leaders
Flexibility and openness to relocation opportunities within the continental United States are strongly preferred, as program placements may vary by business need.
Have a Valid United States Driver’s License (or ability to attain one prior to program start)
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
