Job summary

RR Donnelley in Columbia, SC invites applications for the Operations Associate Development Program. This full-time, entry-level role offers a twelve-month training path to prepare you for leadership in our manufacturing facilities across the United States.

Participants rotate through manufacturing, logistics, administration, HR and finance, gaining hands-on experience. A Bachelor's degree and strong computer skills are required; prior internship is a plus, and a willingness to relocate for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, IT, marketing, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
Prior internship in a manufacturing company/environment is a plus.
Knowledge of the printing process is a plus.
Motivated to succeed and able to work under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Learn several production rotations and the six core plant functions: manufacturing, logistics, operations, administration, human resources, and finance.
Shadow position-specific roles and perform in those roles during rotations.
Assist Plant Leaders in day-to-day facility functions and seize learning opportunities.
Attend internal and external plant meetings.
Read publications to increase knowledge of the print and manufacturing industries.
