Job description

• Proactively connect with experienced utility vegetation management leaders for future Operations leadership opportunities
• Lead multiple crews with responsibility for safety, production, quality, employee development, customer coordination and day-to-day operational execution
• Provide broader operational leadership, including General Foreperson oversight, customer and contract accountability, business management, talent planning and territory support
• Lead larger operational teams and territories with responsibility for people, safety, customers, financial and operational performance, workforce planning and business results
• Build relationships with the Talent Acquisition team and be considered as leadership opportunities develop across the organization

Requirements

• Utility vegetation management, arboriculture, utility services or related field-operations experience
• Demonstrated experience leading field employees and/or multiple crews
• Strong safety leadership and commitment to safe work practices
• Experience coaching, developing and retaining employees
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, employees and operational partners
• Understanding of production, workforce planning, equipment utilization and operational performance
• Strong communication, judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing operational and customer needs
• Willingness to travel and/or consider opportunities across Lewis operating locations, depending on the position
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive keystrokes regularly
• Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain and work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels
• PPE required per OSHA and ANSI standards
