Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Experienced Operations Leader in Michigan to build and guide utility vegetation management teams. You will oversee safety, production, quality and employee development across multiple crews while coordinating with customers and partners.

You will provide General Foreperson oversight, drive workforce planning, and manage territory performance, with a focus on safe, efficient operations and strong relationships. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Utility vegetation management, arboriculture, utility services or related field-operations experience
• Demonstrated experience leading field employees and/or multiple crews
• Strong safety leadership and commitment to safe work practices
• Experience coaching, developing and retaining employees
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers, employees and operational partners
• Understanding of production, workforce planning, equipment utilization and operational performance
• Strong communication, judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing operational and customer needs
• Willingness to travel and/or consider opportunities across Lewis operating locations, depending on the position
• Ability to work outdoors and on uneven terrain
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, perform repetitive keystrokes, occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Must use PPE per OSHA and ANSI standards
