Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant management or supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, manage, and coach subordinates at all levels.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrable understanding of transportation and LTL operations.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, DOT rules, OSHA laws and tariff rules.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the supervision of terminal operations to ensure safe and productive loading/unloading of freight.
• Develop and lead implementation of operations strategy to maximize profits.
• Regularly evaluate routes and dispatch drivers to optimize assets.
• Coordinate with Linehaul Operations for timely arrivals/departures.
• Lead and train supervision across service center personnel.
• Ensure staffing aligns with freight volumes and service requirements.
• Identify and coordinate repairs and vendor agreements for the service center.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs and participate in leadership conferences.
• Ensure onboarding and training requirements are met.
