Job summary

Buckman in Memphis, TN seeks a Production Manager to lead safe, reliable production operations and drive continuous improvement. You will own the plant's operating system, ensure EHS and process safety, and work cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include optimizing yield and throughput, managing batch records in SAP, and developing a high-performing team across shifts. ISO and MOC knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; chemical, electrical, mechanical, or automation preferred.
• 7–9 years of batch chemical plant supervisory/management experience is expected.
• Knowledge of SAP and related production systems is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems is desirable.
• Experience leading process safety, MOC, and risk assessments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable, and cost-competitive production operations to meet demand.
• Own production plan execution, balancing safety, quality, and throughput.
• Ensure accurate batch records, logs, and inventory movements in SAP.
• Develop and coach a high-performing operations team across shifts.
• Drive Lean/6S/Kaizen improvements to reduce variability and costs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, quality, supply chain, and SHE.
