Advanced Thermal Corporation (ATC), a Brock Group member, seeks an Operations Manager for its Jacksonville, Texas facility. You will support the Plant Manager, oversee daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive operational efficiency.

This developmental role aims to grow into Plant Manager duties, focusing on safety, growth, margin, productivity, and cost control while aligning output with customer demand.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude; familiar with shop equipment, tools, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, floor presence, and hands-on approach; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to the Plant Manager across all shop activities, including production scheduling, materials flow, labor coordination, and on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and internal procedures.
• Act as a floor-level leader, working with supervisors and staff to troubleshoot issues and maintain workflow continuity.
• Participate in job order planning and execution to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Assist in employee supervision, development, and performance feedback to build a strong workforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant output with customer demand.
• Support continuous improvement focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
