Job summary

Energy Transfer in Texas seeks a Manager - Plant to lead daily plant operations, meet production targets, and keep performance within equipment design limits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in the industry, with a strong safety focus and ability to serve as a PSM lead or close partner to the Plant Supervisor. Knowledge of gas processing equipment and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong safety, environmental, and regulatory commitment.
• PSM lead ability or close work with Plant Supervisor/PSM Coordinator.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiar with flare reporting system.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the plant.
• Knowledge of natural gas engines and compressor packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant operations to meet production targets and monitor data to minimize downtime.
• Ensure regulatory environmental and safety standards are maintained and emergency decisions are made when required.
• Oversee subordinates, conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Develop and administer training for Operations to maintain qualifications and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain operational procedures for safe, efficient plant operation.
• Ensure operating parameters stay within design limits and conduct safety/environmental inspections.
• Future growth may require overseeing multiple facilities in the West Delaware area and reporting to the area Director.
