Job summary

PRECITECH is seeking a Director of Operations to lead Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Facilities, delivering strategic and tactical operations plans aligned with business goals. You will mentor, coach and empower teams, drive a culture of continuous improvement and implement Lean principles across value streams.

You will partner with Finance, HR and other leaders to develop budgets and forecasts, manage capital expenditure, and optimize profitability while maintaining a strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related operations discipline required.
• Demonstrable experience of operational leadership and leading manufacturing with a proven track record of strong results in a manufacturing environment.
• LEAN, 6-Sigma and continuous improvement goals should be achieved.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Continuous Improvement, Quality and Supply Chain activities across the business, including budgets and performance.
• Provide feedback, mentoring and coaching to support continuous development and empowerment across teams.
• Promote a positive safety culture in collaboration with senior leadership; prioritize health, safety and wellbeing.
• Develop SMART objectives with your team and promote high engagement with Self Directed Teams.
• Implement Operational Excellence and lean principles to improve performance and best practices.
• Serve as a backup for the Business Manager during absences and attend meetings as required.
• collaborate on annual budget, forecasts, and Capital Expenditure proposals in compliance with laws.
• Collaborate to measure product sales and profitability through quality management and lean initiatives.
• Prioritize production to ensure customer orders are met.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and assess impacts on manufacturing.
• Identify infrastructure improvement needs and build the business case for investments.
