Job summary

AMETEK PRECITECH in Keene, NH seeks a Director of Operations to lead Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Facilities, driving strategic and tactical initiatives to meet our performance goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related operations discipline.
• Operational leadership with a proven manufacturing track record.
• LEAN, Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams; thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Continuous Improvement, Quality and Supply Chain activities across the business.
• Provide feedback, mentoring and coaching to support development and accountability.
• Promote a positive safety culture in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
• Develop SMART objectives and engage Self Directed Teams to improve performance.
• Implement Operational Excellence and lean principles to drive improvements.
• Serve as a backup for the Business Manager during absences and attend key meetings.
• Develop the annual budget and forecasts, including capital expenditure proposals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to measure product sales and profitability.
• Prioritize production to meet customer orders and expectations.
• Identify infrastructure needs and build the business case for investment.
