SunSource is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a safe, efficient distribution and fabrication operation. You will direct daily activities, collaborate with management, and steer the branch toward profitability and improved operations.

Strong communication with internal and external customers is essential. Role emphasizes strategic planning, lean initiatives, and safeguarding safety and quality while managing multiple teams and payroll.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4-year degree preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience in industrial distribution.
• Experience in fluid conveyance or sealing beneficial.
• Proven ability to drive profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct safe, efficient distribution/ fabrication operations.
• Coordinate Inside Sales to maintain competitive pricing and gross margin.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and material processing to ensure timeliness.
• Maintain accurate inventory and storage layouts; plan space effectively.
• Manage Inside Sales, production/fabrication, and distribution teams; payroll.
• Drive continuous improvement projects for lean, quality, and safety.
• Ensure safety programs and company policies are documented and followed.
• Develop a comprehensive succession plan for operations personnel.
• Adapt to changes and perform other duties as assigned.
