Job summary

IEM is seeking an Operations Manager to drive end-to-end ownership of the production value stream in San Antonio, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency. The role leads a cross-functional team and applies Lean principles to optimize workflow, resource use, and continuous improvement across planning, materials, quality, engineering, and maintenance.

The position is in-office, with temporary relocation to NE San Antonio during new plant startup, and the permanent Brooks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience (Production Supervisor/Manager).
• Proven track record of KPI improvements (delivery, FPY, DPU, cost).
• Ability to coach and manage cross-functional teams and ensure accountability.
• Strong analytical mindset with Lean tools experience (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR/Syteline) and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive KPI performance for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure alignment with schedules and standards.
• Lead cross-functional team including production, quality, materials, and maintenance.
• Coordinate production scheduling with planning and materials teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
