hth companies in the Midwest is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for 50–75 personnel across scaffold, mechanical, insulation, industrial cleaning, and maintenance teams. The role combines field visits with office duties, including quotes, scheduling, and client communication.

You will lead a high-performing team, enforce OSHA safety standards, manage costs and training, and mentor future leaders within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and several years of leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with safety and administrative principles and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 50–75 employees across scaffold, mechanical, insulation, industrial cleaning, and maintenance trades.
• Plan, schedule, and ensure safe, efficient work execution; manage field visits and office requirements.
• Prepare and review project estimates, drafts, and proposals for clients.
• Loster a liaison for key client relationships, drive revenue growth, and participate in business development.
• Manage quotes, scheduling, client communication, onboarding/offboarding, and training development.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and champion a positive safety culture.
• Review sites for approved practices and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor purchase orders, costs, and client billing across sites.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization.
• Resolve employee disputes and maintain high-performing teams.
