Senior Helpers Parent Account in Encino, CA is seeking a proven Director of Operations to own daily operations, build a team, and scale processes across two locations. You will manage staffing, payroll, billing, and client services, driving accountability and profitability.

You will oversee 160 caregivers, lead office staff, and implement systems to strengthen retention, scheduling, and financial controls, reporting to ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a labor‑intensive operation.
• Experience in home care, home health, senior care, healthcare, staffing, or high‑volume service.
• Experience managing a large workforce (100+ employees/caregivers valued).
• Hands‑on experience with scheduling, payroll, billing, A/R, recruiting, client service, performance management, and process improvement.
• Strong financial and operational judgment.
• Decisive, organized, accountable, and able to uphold high standards.
• Strong communicator with caregivers, clients, office staff, managers, vendors and ownership.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of daily operations across two locations from the Encino office.
• Manage the office staff; set expectations and performance standards; coach employees.
• Oversee ~160 caregivers; handle call-offs, attendance, performance; improve retention.
• Own payroll process from timekeeping to submission; ensure accuracy and controls.
• Oversee billing and collections; monitor invoices, aging A/R, and follow-up.
• Own day‑to‑day client service and escalation procedures; improve client retention.
• Track revenue, labor costs, margins, payroll, billing, A/R, and KPI reporting.
• Develop and document SOPs; optimize systems (WellSky) and scalable processes.
