Job summary

Justice Resource Institute’s Walden Street School in Concord, MA seeks a Director of Operations to lead a dynamic team and ensure high-quality residential and educational services for adolescents. You will oversee cross-department collaboration, on-boarding, and staff development while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year, with bilingual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in a residential and educational program with students that experience emotional and behavioral difficulties.
• Applicants must have experience or the ability to learn how to manage, supervise, and develop staff.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for working collaboratively with all departments at Walden Street School.
• You will provide supervision to staff from diverse backgrounds, creating an environment of inclusion.
• You will be responsible for ensuring program complies with all federal, state, funding and city regulations and licensing requirements.
• You will lead and assist department heads with general operations in all aspects of the program.
• You will lead all on-boarding, hiring and training within the program.
