Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a General Manager to oversee multiple contracted services for a client generating $2-15M+ in revenue. You will guide operations across food service, facility support, custodial, and more, building a strong management team and driving financial and service performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and expertise in contractual obligations, with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and Aramark staff.
• Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements.
• Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality.
• Proven ability leading through other managers.
• Experience in creating and managing a department budget and financial controls.
• Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while providing hands-on execution management of operations.
• Manages the client and community relationships at the location, continually assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service.
• Builds, develops, and leads a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on understanding of contractual obligations.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and assists in improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
• Manages compliance with local, state and federal regulations and records.
