Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations and partner with executive leadership to set strategic goals. The role includes updating policy, leading cross-functional teams, and coordinating major projects across service territories.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in operational management within the power delivery industry, with strong leadership and client-facing skills. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; substitutions possible.
• 10+ years’ experience in Operational Management overseeing major projects in power delivery; knowledge of transmission, distribution, substations.
• 5+ years’ experience managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist VP, Operations and executives in long- and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives.
• Develop project plans and lead project teams to meet customer needs.
• Achieve optimum employee production levels through direct leadership.
• Interface with clients and lead client-focused teams to meet operational objectives.
• Direct and monitor department managers to goals per policies and safety procedures.
• Lead multi-unit teams on major projects across service territories.
• Initiate and coordinate major projects and improve productivity while reducing costs.
