Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations and partner with executive management to set strategic goals. The role guides policy updates and aligns operational activities with business objectives.

You will plan, design, engineer and manage projects, lead project teams, and drive productivity while maintaining safety standards across service territories. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ experience in Operational Management overseeing major projects in the power delivery industry.
• 5+ years’ experience managing employees.
• Travel: Yes, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Assists executives in long- and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives.
• Develops project plans and leads project teams to meet customer needs.
• Achieves optimum employee production levels through direct leadership.
• Interfaces with clients and leads client-focused teams to meet operational goals.
• Directs department managers to achieve goals under policy and safety standards.
• Identifies and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Leads multi-unit teams on major projects across service territories.
• Initiates and coordinates major projects and client base development.
