Job summary

Verra Mobility, a global leader in smart transportation, is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Mesa to oversee daily operations, manage inventory levels, and align staffing with customer SLA requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to train staff using clear materials.

This role reports to the Operations Manager within Government Solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least two years of leadership experience; supervision a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop and engaging with employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Quality driven with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates employees through communication, feedback, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Manages day-to-day operations by monitoring inventory levels and forecasting staffing to meet SLA requirements.
• Identify ways to create an engaging work environment and value employees.
• Lead 1-on-1 sessions and communicate with team via meetings/huddles.
• Collaborate with HR to address performance or behavior issues promptly.
• Track attendance and implement progressive discipline as needed.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers, and vendors.
• Act as change-agent to implement process and organizational changes.
• Handle service recovery for escalated customer issues via in-person, phone, or email.
• Support training material development for new processors.
