DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager in Austin, Texas to lead all aspects of Commercial Door Systems to ensure high satisfaction levels are maintained for customer construction projects performed.

Position Overview: Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel associated with efficiently, effectively, safely, and profitably; hire, train, develop, coach, and evaluate staff; communicate with customers to solicit feedback and uncover sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum 2 years’ performance as Department Manager, Operations Manager and/or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with familiarity and knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
• Ability to work in a hands-on environment with deadlines and strong customer service.
• Experience leading meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel to operate safely, profitably, and efficiently.
• Manage and improve operational processes to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure sold jobs are scheduled timely and performed to meet budgeted sales and gross profit.
• Collaborate to align operating budgets with monthly sales goals.
• Deliver profit dollars and return on sales that meet or exceed yearly budgets/forecasts.
• Establish objectives and action plans aligned with corporate aims.
• Hire, train and develop employees; coach for performance and reviews.
• Lead meetings, set expectations, and hold staff accountable.
• Communicate with customers to gather feedback and identify new sales opportunities.
