Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a results-oriented Operations Lead to manage daily workflows and coach teams across multiple functions. You will guide priorities, develop staff, and partner with colleagues to improve processes and service quality.

The role emphasizes building strong teams, ensuring controls and compliance, and advancing operational excellence within a banking environment. A relevant degree and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in operations, service, or production.
• Experience overseeing workflows, coaching employees, and driving team performance.
• Preferred 5+ years in banking operations or financial services.
• 5+ years in a regulated environment with established controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations by setting priorities, assigning work, and managing workflows.
• Coach and develop employees through feedback, mentoring, training, and performance conversations.
• Build a strong team by supporting hiring, onboarding, recognition, development and engagement.
• Monitor processes and performance to identify issues and improve service standards.
• Ensure procedures, controls, security requirements, and audit standards are followed.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen customer and employee experience.
• Partner with teams across the organization to improve workflows and implement solutions.
• Stay current on industry practices and technology to support continuous improvement.
